Sheldon entered the insurance industry in 1991. A business school graduate of the University of Alabama, he is an Atlanta native with lifelong ties to the Siegel family; in fact, Sheldon’s mother Lois is the one who introduced Jerry and Bootsie Siegel! He specialized in life and disability insurance before joining Siegel Insurance in 2009, but now has added property and casualty to his resume. As an independent agent, Sheldon determines his client’s needs and goals to find the companies that best match his customers’ requirements. He also like connecting people to others to help their businesses. He loves what he does for others.

As a past Vice President of Etz Chaim Congregation and current President of the North Atlanta Men’s Jewish Bowling League, Sheldon enjoys a variety of activities, including bowling, basketball, networking, Operation Boot Camp, University of Alabama football, movies, and, especially family time. Along with his wife Linda, they have 3 sons and 1 daughter and love their “Labor Day Shaving Cream Fights” (involving the backyard trampoline and multiple cans of shaving cream – ask him about it), a favorite family tradition. Sheldon lives by the phrase “take care of the clients”.

Sheldon’s professional affiliations and leadership include the following:

Past President of NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, 2008-2009
Past Board Member of NAIFA, 2000-2010
Past Speaker of Top Advisors for NAIFA-Atlanta, 2006
Past Head of the Field Advisory Team for Berkshire Disability Insurance, 2006-2009
